Our special events help to support our school and provide tuition assistance. We have friend-raising and fund-raising events nearly year-round, so there’s something happening almost every month!
Crusader Kickoff & Raffle - August
The Edgewood Athletics Association sponsors a gathering for all parents, alumni, coaches, and friends to socialize, meet new families, and support the Crusaders. The evening includes games and prizes, including a $10,000 grand prize in the EAA raffle. Raffle tickets cost $100 each and purchase is appreciated, though the event which includes a buffet dinner and a cash/open bar is offered at no charge. NFL Craze - August to December
This fun 17-week fundraiser helps to support co-curricular activities at the school. Each ticket has randomly-selected, three-team combinations that differ each week of the NFL season. Tickets amassing each weekend's highest score combination wins! Other statistics also earn prizes. View weekly results. Living the Mission Awards & Donor Recognition - October
Edgewood brings together donors and distinguished alumni in a celebration of the results of an Edgewood education. Guests attend a brunch and in between recognition of the school’s many longtime and exceptionally generous donors, select alumni, and local “servant leaders” are presented with awards for achievement in education, the arts and athletics and for service to EHS and society. E Club Gathering - January/February
The Crusaders athletics program relies on contributions from generous donors to meet 25 percent of its operating budget every year. The E Club is a special fund that helps improve the athletics program by providing long-term endowed support for maintenance and projects. Each year we invite members of the E Club to hear from prominent local and regional speakers in the field of athletics at an annual membership renewal event. Memberships are $1,000 annually or $10,000 lifetime.
Encore Event - May/June
Encore donors gather to raise funds in support of the many outstanding curricular and co-curricular fine arts programs EHS offers. Gifts have made possible theatre improvements, art room upgrades, instrument purchases, publishing upgrades, and many other projects. Memberships are $1,000 annually or $10,000 lifetime.
Coach Earl J. Wilke Golf Outing - June
For more than 20 years, the EAA has hosted this outing honoring the beloved Earl Wilke, who joined EHS in 1929 as a biology and physical education teacher and coach. He coached basketball until 1958 and football until 1965 but his support for the school continued into the 1980s as head of the athletics association. This often sold-out event includes golf, hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, and mini-raffle, with all proceeds going to Crusader athletics. Northwoods Golf Getaway - June
Gather at one of Wisconsin’s premier resorts, the Red Crown Lodge in Minocqua, for two and a half days of golfing three of northern Wisconsin’s finest courses, tremendous food, lodging, and event transportation. To get involved, contact Mike Elliott at ext. 103.
