- Edgewood offers over 130 courses, including Honors, Accelerated, and Advance Placement courses.
- EHS offers two programs for students with learning challenges; about 25% of all EHS students participate in one of these programs in a given year.
- One quarter to 1/3 of juniors and 40-50% of seniors take at least one of 12 AP courses offered. Over 85% of these are eligible for college credit after an end-year AP exam. Nearly 40% of new graduates have passed at least one AP course, more than double the state and national averages.
- Virtually 100% of Edgewood students take the ACT college admissions test; with EHS average scores three points higher than the state average and four points over the national average.
- Over 95% of EHS graduates go on to higher education, over 90% to a four-year college or university.
