Edgewood Wisconsin Education Career Access Network (WECAN) for hiring new Faculty ONLY. 

Part-Time Mathematics Teaching Position 
Edgewood is looking for a part-time mathematics teacher to teach 3 sections of mathematics for the 2015-16 school year.  The teaching assignments include one section of Algebra I, one section of Algebra II, and one section of College Algebra for Seniors.  The Algebra I class is first-year algebra for freshmen, Algebra II continues this study for juniors.  The College Algebra for Seniors course is an advanced class in algebra and trigonometry.  A proficient comfort level in utilizing technology is favorable.  Starting date is August 10, 2015.

Full-Time Spanish Teaching Position
Edgewood is looking for a full-time Spanish teacher to teach 5 sections of Spanish III and 1 section of Spanish * for the 2015-16 school year.  This teacher should have experience in teaching almost entirely in the target language and be comfortable creating lessons from a variety of sources.  Strong mastery of Spanish grammar is favorable as well as the ability to integrate culture into the curriculum.  A proficient comfort level in utilizing technology is favorable.  Starting date is August 10, 2015. 

Part-Time Spanish Teaching Position 
Edgewood is looking for a part-time Spanish teacher to teach 2 sections of Spanish I for the 2015-16 school year.  A familiarity with introductory Spanish courses and teaching primarily in the target language is required.  A proficient comfort level in utilizing technology is favorable.  Starting date is August 10, 2015.

LTE Spanish Teaching Position (1 year)
Edgewood is looking for a full-time LTE Spanish teacher to teach 4 sections of Spanish II and 1 section of AP Spanish Language and Culture for the 2015-16 school year.  Our ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience teaching an AP Spanish course.  This teacher should also have experience teaching exclusively in the target language.  A proficient comfort level in technology use in addition to strong lesson planning skills are recommended.  The position will be full-time for one year only (2015-16 school year).  Starting date is August 10, 2015. 

Substitute Teachers
Edgewood keeps an active list of substitutes and is often in need of a few good teachers to add to the list.
