Edgewood Wisconsin Education Career Access Network (WECAN) for hiring new Faculty ONLY. 

Social Studies Teacher
The school is looking for a full-time Social Studies Teacher to teach 3 sections of World History and 2 AP European History classes for the 2014-2015 school year. The World History classes are primarily sophomores. The topics studied are Greece, Rome, the rise of modern Europe, Russia, the Middle East, China and Africa. The AP Euro classes will explore European history from the Renaissance to the present. It looks at the social, cultural, intellectual, political, religious, economic and women's history of the time. The AP Euro classes are primarily comprised of juniors and seniors and requires a significant amount of reading, note taking and essay writing as the students prepare for the end of year AP exam. Our ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience teaching an AP course, ideally in European History.

Business Education Teacher
We are currently seeking full-time and part-time Business/Computer Education teachers for the 2014-2015 school year. The courses are Marketing I & II, Starting Your Own Business, Managing Your Financial Life. In addition, there is Personal Computer Literacy which is part of our Freshman Interdisciplinary Team (FIT) program. This program is working with 10 teachers, 2 counselors and the Freshman Class to ensure computer literacy in internet and researching skills and research paper formatting. '

Director of Institutional Advancement
The school seeks a full time Major Gifts professional to take Edgewood High School to the next level! Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of cultivation, solicitation, stewardship strategies and techniques. A bachelor’s degree, CFRE certification preferred, and a minimum of 3-5 years major gift experience is required.

Substitute Food Services Worker
Edgewood High School Food Service Department is looking for a substitute Food Service Worker to cover for employees that are out ill or for those that have taken personal time off. This person would have to be able to be available upon short notice, Monday thru Friday primarily beginning at 8a.m.
