Director of Institutional Advancement
Key responsibilities include:
• Create,
implement and manage a proactive Advancement plan designed
to build partnerships between Edgewood High School and
donors, prospective donors, and the business community
• Oversee
operations of the Advancement Department
• Serve of the
School's leadership team
Candidates must have excellent oral and written
communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of Advancement
planning, cultivation, stewardship and solicitation
strategies and techniques. Candidates must demonstrate
expertise in the area of corporate and foundation
fundraising and have a proven record of success in
generating significant commitments from individual donors,
corporations and foundations. We are looking for a
self-motivated and disciplined individual who can set and
achieve work goals. A bachelor's degree and a minimum
of 3-5 years major gift experience is required. CFRE
certification preferred. Preference will be given to
candidates with corporate/foundation experience and/or
private education major gift experience.
