Prospective families can initiate a visit to campus anytime, but the application process does not begin until the year before your child would start at Edgewood. Most families visit during the fall, and the first round of applications are due in December. Applications may be considered after that depending on space at that time.

We encourage families to take advantage of the admission events offered on campus each year, as they will give you various academic and community perspectives of the school. The best way to get specific questions answered is to schedule an individual tour of Edgewood during the school day. Our admission team is dedicated to caring for you throughout the application process, so relying on them to answer your questions and connect you to helpful resources is the best way to determine the fit for your child and family.

Events and Visits

All applicant students are encouraged to participate in a student shadow visit so that they can observe classes and interact with current students and faculty. 

Schedule a Shadow Day

Yes, we include books and Chromebooks in the tuition cost. We do not require families to purchase their own textbooks. School-owned Chromebooks are individually assigned and distributed on Orientation Day. The school purchases, owns, and distributes all textbooks and workbooks (except dictionaries) to students on the first or second day of class. We assess a fee for lost books and Chromebooks.

There are four payment plans available: annual, semester, quarterly and monthly. We accept credit cards, automatic transfers, and checks.

Currently, tuition and fees cover about 80% of the actual cost of educating a student. The remaining 20%  is the tuition “gap .”  We subsidize this gap (approximately $2,500 per student annually) through fundraising and donations, including those made by parents of current students.

Edgewood uses the Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) program to process financial assistance requests and determine each family’s financial need. TADS uniformly collects the necessary information from each family, audits it and provides this information to Edgewood to be used as a tool for identifying and matching need-based assistance with our families.

The number of applicants each year also affects the number and amount of financial assistance grants awarded. Financial assistance is not automatically renewed each year. An application for assistance must be filed annually.
