The Edgewood High School Theatre program empowers students to discover their voice, express creativity, and experience the transformative power of live performance. Whether center stage or behind the scenes, our students are part of a collaborative artistic community where imagination, discipline, and confidence thrive.

Engaging Coursework
Our curriculum offers specialized classes designed to build foundational skills and artistic confidence:

• Acting: Character development, script analysis, and stage presence.
• Musical Theatre: Combining vocal performance, acting, and movement.
• Technical Theatre: Hands-on learning in stagecraft, lighting, sound, and stage management.

A Full Production Season 
Guided by experienced faculty, every production provides authentic learning that challenges students to grow. Each year, our department proudly stages:

• Two Major Musicals: Large-scale productions featuring student performers and technical crews.
• Mainstage Plays: Diverse theatrical works that explore different genres and styles.
