Edgewood has 46 full-time faculty and 10 part-time; 38 have earned Masters degrees and 18 hold bachelors degrees.
Edgewood has a dedicated team of teachers, coaches and staff, many of whom have been at the school for several years. Advanced Placement Test Results
Edgewood offers 13 AP courses. The number of students who choose to take an AP course has continued to grow, with students taking the class as an additional sign of academic challenge and initiative, regardless of whether their final test score qualifies for college credit (3 or higher).

National Merit Honors
The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, a test which serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.6 million entrants each year—and by meeting published program entry and participation requirements. Edgewood consistently has an average of about 9 to 10 students recognized annually:
