Community Engagement
In order to realize the goals of our mission and vision, Edgewood actively strives to be a diverse and inclusive community of learners. The presence of different perspectives and life experiences plays a vital role in the development of our students, enhancing classroom and extracurricular experiences in meaningful ways. As a school, we are committed to cultivating an environment in which all members of the Edgewood community experience a true sense of belonging and are empowered to be active participants in the life of the school.

Edgewood in the Community
Edgewood High School is built on a foundation of Catholic service to the community. For one day each fall, as an integral part of our homecoming activities, the entire student body, faculty and staff put down the books for Edgewood in the Community (EIC), a day of volunteering in service to our neighbors. This service day jump-starts students’ excitement for our mission to serve and gives them an early opportunity to connect with work and organizations they may serve in the future.
