Edgewood House System

Five Houses. One Edgewood.

Rooted in the Dominican tradition of educating the whole person, the Edgewood House System creates a community where every student is known, welcomed, and encouraged to grow. By connecting students across all grade levels, Houses foster meaningful relationships, leadership, service, school spirit, and a strong sense of belonging.

Each House is named after one of the five Sinsinawa Dominican values—Truth, Compassion, Justice, Community, and Partnership—and is represented by its own color, two saints, motto, and crest.

Freshmen and all new students are welcomed into a House each fall and remain members throughout their time at Edgewood and beyond. Siblings are also placed in the same House, creating traditions and a legacy to span generations.
